Matey gives general information about your own plan. It is not advice.
Matey is not the NDIS. Funding decisions belong to the NDIA.
Always check important things with your plan manager, coordinator, or the NDIS on 1800 800 110.
Only upload a plan that is yours, or that you are allowed to use.

1. What NDISmate.ai is — and is not

NDISmate.ai ("Matey") is an independent information tool that helps you read and understand an NDIS plan document you provide. It is not the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NDIS, and cannot approve funding, change a plan, or contact the NDIS on your behalf. Matey provides general information, not legal, financial, medical, clinical or definitive funding advice, and is not a substitute for a support coordinator, plan manager, or professional adviser.

2. Accuracy — what we promise and what we don't

Matey is built to be honest: it reads only the document you supply, shows a blank rather than a guess when information is missing, and quotes price limits only from the current official NDIS Support Catalogue, with the source cited. AI systems can still make mistakes, and your plan document may itself be out of date. Always verify anything important — especially money, dates, and funding decisions — with your plan manager, provider, or the NDIS on 1800 800 110 before acting on it.

3. Your responsibilities

Only upload documents you are entitled to use — your own plan, or a plan you are authorised to help with. Do not use the service to attempt to harm others, probe or overload the system, or generate misleading material. The service has fair-use rate limits; do not try to circumvent them.

4. Emergencies and safety

Matey is not an emergency service. In an emergency call 000. For abuse or neglect of a person with disability, contact the NDIS Commission on 1800 035 544. For crisis support, Lifeline is 13 11 14.

5. Intellectual property

The service, its software, brand and content are owned by NDISMATE.AI PTY LTD. Your plan remains yours; we claim no rights over it and do not retain it (see the Privacy Policy).

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on information produced by the service without the verification described in section 2. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian law. The service is provided free to participants on an "as available" basis and may change or be unavailable at times.

7. General

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above will change when we do. Questions: admin@ndismate.ai.
